General information.

Merlin Aviation has built, and operates its own fixed-base, Boeing 737-700/800 Next Generation simulator. This simulator has been designed using the latest techniques and reflects the Boeing 737NG to an accuracy level of 90%. We have chosen this simulator due to the fact that the 737-NG series is the worlds most used aircraft.


Simulator facts.

All vital B737NG systems are fully functional in the simulator. The outside world is projected on a 170º vision system, making visual circuit flying possible. The simulator has purposeful not been JAR certified, this means that the hours cannot be logged in an official logbook. The positive side is that the operating costs, and hence the hourly rate, are lower. The simulator adheres to the JAR-STD 3A FNPT II (MCC) requirements.
